HOW WE HELP
Welcome to Remi’s Safe Place! 🐾
We are a newly developed nonprofit rescue transport organization dedicated to saving vulnerable dogs and helping them find safe placement, foster homes, and forever families. While our initial focus will be Texas — due to the overwhelming euthanasia rates of healthy, adoptable dogs — we are willing to go wherever we are needed.
Every day, loving and innocent dogs lose their lives simply because shelters are overcrowded. It breaks my heart, and I refuse to believe we cannot do more. Together, we CAN save lives.
Right now, we are building relationships with rescues, shelters, fosters, and transport partners across the United States. I already have an incredible group of volunteer drivers ready to do whatever it takes to help save these animals. Many are willing to drive long distances for nothing more than gas money.
One of my biggest goals is to organize transport efforts more efficiently by securing cargo vans with air conditioning so we can safely transport multiple dogs at once. If anyone knows of organizations or individuals willing to donate or give big discounts oa reliable van, please reach out!
I will also be making trips to Cleveland, Texas, where there is a heartbreaking stray and abandoned dog crisis. My hope is to eventually raise enough funds to help support a community spay/neuter initiative and work alongside local feeders and advocates to help these dogs find safety, medical care, fosters, and homes.
You will see many urgent dogs posted here, but this page will not only focus on sadness. It will focus on HOPE, teamwork, networking, fundraising ideas, success stories, and building a community of people who truly care.
We desperately need fosters throughout the USA. If you have ever considered fostering, now is the time. Even opening your home temporarily can save a life.
This is just the beginning for Remi’s Safe Place, and I am incredibly excited for what’s ahead. Thank you for being here, supporting this mission, and believing that every dog deserves compassion, dignity, and a chance to live.
Let’s save some lives together. ❤️🐶
