Story of the week
Once lost she is finally found! Wednesday comes home!!!
After 8 long heartbreaking months, my babygirl Wednesday was finally found. She was stolen the day I was taken by ambulance to the hospital. I left with the assurance that she was being brought back across the street. Instead, I was told someone took her and all efforts were exhausted with no luck. Just vanished! I immediately notified the microchip company, reported her stolen to law enforcement, related flyers, contacted local sheters, vets, rescues whoever was needed to contact i did it. I was dealing with life threatening illnesses and grieving my babygirl. I was released from the hospital after ten days, did my best to look for her. Everyday I looked online twice a day, called shelters just in case she was not posted . I went back to the hospital after a few days and continued to follow that path for two months. But no matter my situation, I still kept on my search for my girl. I cried everyday worried she was cold or hungry I couldn't move forward in life. Everyone in my life discouraged me from continuing to search so much but it consumed me. I failed my girl. The week she was found, I had resolved to stop torturing myself and only search every few days. I last looked Wednesday evening late and still as everytime before, nothing. Early Saturday morning around 1 am I get multiple messages on my phone and Facebook stating I think this is your baby Kelly!!! It was her I couldn't believe it!!! She was found earlier that evening not even a quarter mile from where she was taken from!!! It was hard getting in touch with the shelter but I finally secured her after paying their fees and she came home!!! Even after I found her, people said don't get your hopes up it's probably not her but I knew it was she was microchipped they scanned her and got the information. All I know is I do care who had her and will eventually find out but at least she was healthy and being taken care of. That's my story just don't ever give up hope! I never lost hope or faith that she would be home again one day!!! Thank you God my baby is home!!!
